As part of its methodology based on integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, the English Language Department at Al-Mansour University College (MUC) organized a training lecture for fourth-year students. The session aimed to qualify them to acquire professional teaching skills and prepare them to engage in the classroom experience with confidence and competence.
The lecture was delivered by faculty member Dr. Bushra Saadoon, who covered lesson planning methods, delivery and communication strategies, classroom management, and techniques for motivating learners. The session included practical applications executed by the students to simulate real teaching environments.
The training took place with the supportive presence of the Dean of Al-Mansour University College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed Kallow, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman. Both emphasized the importance of this type of training in honing students' skills and preparing them to enter the educational labor market.
This event aligns with the College’s vision to graduate teachers who possess high linguistic competence and modern teaching skills, enabling them to represent the English Language Department in the academic field in the best possible image.
