As part of the activities of the cultural season, the English Department held a scientific symposium entitled:
(How do we study literature)
Delivered by (Mr. Dr. Hussein Ali Abbas)
In the presence of the Dean of the College, the esteemed Professor Dr. Sabah Muhammad Kallow, his assistant for scientific affairs, the esteemed Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman, some department heads and faculty, and many students from the English Department. After completing the lecture, the discussion began, where the Dean and the Scientific Assistant thanked him, and everyone started a great interaction in exchanging ideas and presenting opinions regarding literature in general and English literature in particular. At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College presented certificates of appreciation to the Head of the English Department and the honorable lecturer.
