New Page 1 About us AL-Mansour University College (MUC) is quality higher education institute established in Baghdad, 1988. Quite significantly, MUC has become, throughout the passing years, a distinguished academic landmark, keeping pace with the requirements of the age of knowledge explosion and of the revolution of information technology. In terms of quality, the college sets itself towards providing unique and excellent undergraduate education. Interestingly, on a practical level, MUC works hard to enable its students to achieve their professional and creative potential and to, actively, contribute to the economic and social development and welfare of the local community and individuals. Besides the departments proper, the Consultations and Continuing Education Centre, within MUC, reveals its philosophy rewardingly through the programmes, courses and seminars it conducts. It is always ready to offer, both governmental and private sectors, expertise, advice and guidance specifically in administrative, industrial, computer programmes and new information systems. Enhancing the value of scientific societies in the country, MUC has played an active role in the Iraqi Society for Quality and Reliability. It has also given financial support to the society already mentioned and also to the Iraqi Society for Libraries and Information. MUC now enjoys the membership of numerous Arab and international organizations, among which are The Arab Scientific Research Councils' Union and The International Association of Universities. It has also concluded cooperation agreements and memorandums with the following British Universities: London University, Westminster University, Greenwich University, and Birmingham University. Welcome to Mansour University College Mansour University College, a non-profit Co-educational institution of higher education, was founded in Baghdad (1988) by academically distinguished members of the Board of Trustees. The college's emphasis is on quality university education. Accredited by The Ministry of Higher Education, the sole accrediting authority in Iraq, the college constructs course programmes and academic curricula which are designed according to those adopted by UNESCO, with the perception that education fuels the economy.
