Al-Mansour University College Discusses the Most Critical Digital Media Shifts in a Scientific Seminar on Deepfakes

As part of Al-Mansour University College’s (MUC) efforts to enhance media awareness and keep pace with the most critical transformations of the digital age, the Digital Media Department organized a scientific seminar titled "Deepfakes in Media." The seminar was presented by Prof. Dr. Jihad Kadhim Al-Ukaili, with the participation of Asst. Lect. Qasim Mustafa Abdullah.

The seminar addressed the working mechanisms of deepfake technologies, their risks to content creation and public opinion, as well as methods for detection and mitigation within modern media environments.

The event was attended by a group of faculty members and students who actively engaged with the discussed themes, recognizing them as contemporary issues affecting information security and professional practice in media institutions.
