Al-Mansour University College Organizes a Scientific Seminar on the Psychological and Behavioral Effects of Drugs on Students

The Continuing Education Unit at Al-Mansour University College, in cooperation with the Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, held a scientific seminar titled "The Psychological and Behavioral Effects of Drugs and Students." The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Kallow, and the Scientific Associate Dean, Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman, along with a number of faculty members, students, and those interested in educational and health affairs.
The seminar was presented by Professor Dr. Hilal Abdul Karim Salih. In his lecture, he addressed the most dangerous psychological, behavioral, and social effects of drugs on youth, especially university students. He explained their repercussions on academic performance and mental health, and the role of educational institutions in preventing this phenomenon.
Lecturer Dr. Saif Dawood Salman added to the discussion, emphasizing in his contributions the importance of sports and health education in protecting youth from behavioral deviations. He pointed out that regular physical activity is an effective means of promoting mental health and building a balanced personality.
Professor Dr. Sabah Mohammed Kallo expressed his appreciation for the lecturers and participants, stressing that Al-Mansour University College will continue to fulfill its educational mission of spreading community awareness and combating negative phenomena through scientific and educational methods.
