Al-Mansour University College Celebrates Iraqi National Day by Opening a Charity Market Embodying Student Creativity and Promoting Values of Giving and Belonging

Under the patronage of the Deanship of Al-Mansour University College, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed kallow, accompanied by the Vice Dean for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul Satar Shaker Salman, inaugurated a charity market for student handicrafts and traditional crafts. The event was held in collaboration with several civil society organizations to celebrate the National Day of the Republic of Iraq, which symbolizes the spirit of unity, belonging, and pride in national identity.

This initiative comes as part of the college's strategy to enhance communication between students and the community and to open broader horizons for creative youth talents to showcase their intellectual and artistic creations in an academic atmosphere dominated by a spirit of pride and patriotism.

The Dean, accompanied by the Scientific Associate, toured the market held on the university campus. He reviewed the students' creative works, which ranged from handicrafts, accessory design, tailoring traditional clothing, painting on glass and fabric, creating artistic models, and recycled environmental projects. These works demonstrated the students' skills and their capacity for innovation and production.

Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohammed kallowemphasized in his remarks on this occasion that the college places great emphasis on extracurricular activities that develop the student's character and instill the values of hard work and creativity. He pointed out that such events contribute to supporting young talents and building bridges of communication between the college and civil society.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman clarified that holding the charity market in conjunction with the National Day represents a message of love and loyalty to the homeland and an expression of the spirit of initiative demonstrated by Al-Mansour University College students, praising the level of organization and creativity that distinguished the exhibits.

The event saw wide attendance from faculty, students, and representatives of civil society organizations, who praised the level of organization and excellent execution. They affirmed that this activity reflects the bright face of Iraqi students who combine academic excellence with humanitarian contribution.

The event concluded by honoring the participants in appreciation of their efforts and their role in the success of this event, which embodies the values of national belonging and reflects the mission of Al-Mansour University College in building conscious, creative, and responsible generations devoted to their homeland and society.
