Scientific Collaboration between Al-Mansour University College and the Ministry of Industry to Combat Industrial Pollution through the Utilization of Plants

The Department of Physical Therapy Technologies at Al-Mansour University College organized a scientific symposium titled "Employing Plants to Address Industrial Pollution in Local Industrial Facilities," with the participation of a select group of specialists from the industrial and environmental fields.
The symposium was presented by Senior Chief Engineer Ali Hussein Ibrahim from the Ministry of Industry, and Lecturer Dr. Suha Adel Qassim from Al-Mansour University College. They reviewed the importance of using plants to absorb pollutants and improve environmental quality within industrial facilities, stressing that sustainable solutions begin with the integration of academic knowledge and industrial application.
The symposium emphasized the necessity of adopting green technologies and biological methods for treating emissions and reducing the environmental impact of industrial activities, consistent with the sustainable development objectives in Iraq.
