Under the sponsorship of Mr. Dean of Mansour University College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Mohamed Kallow, the respected and with the direct supervision of Dr. Raad Fajr Fateh, the head of the Law Department, and the participation of both Professor Sousan Khairi Abdullah and Professor Hanadi Karam Rashid, the two courses in the department, and a group of students of the Law Department in our college held a student workshop on rights. Constitutionalism in the Iraqi constitution. Dr. Raad Fajr, Head of the Law Department, stated that the workshop discussed constitutional rights, which can be a privilege, duty, or a certain condition recognized by a sovereign state or a union of several countries, Dr. Fajr added that all constitutional rights are explicitly written and enshrined in the Iraqi constitution which is unified and agreed upon, and these rights are the supreme laws of the state, which means that any other laws that contradict them are unconstitutional and are therefore void. The Constitution usually defines the structure of the national government governing the state, the functions of this government, its privileges, boundaries, individual freedoms, rights, and duties guaranteed by the constitution to be protected and enforced when needed by the national authorities in the state. The workshop was attended by Professor Dr. Abdul Sattar Shaker Salman, the scientific assistant, and a number of lecturers in our college.
