Under the title Empowering Youth, Our Goal Towards Sustainable Development, and under the patronage of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Al-Mansour University College opened its first scientific conference for distinguished graduation research for the academic year 2021-2022 on Wednesday, 25-5-2022, in the presence of the representative of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Professor Dr. Majid Hamid, And the Dean of the College of Wisdom, Professor Dr. Mazin Al-Hakim, and with the participation of 70 graduation projects from 17 public and private universities and colleges, and in the active presence of participating professors and students and those interested in learning about the students’ scientific outcomes, the conference was initiated by the Dean of Al-Mansour University College, Prof. Dr. Sabah Muhammad Kallw, with a welcoming speech to all present. Then Prof. Dr. Majid Hamid presented his speech on behalf of His Excellency the Honorable Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, after which Dr. Mahmoud Shuker Mahmoud, coordinator of the scientific committee of the conference, reviewed an overview of the participants in the conference, its agenda and the evaluation mechanism, to cut the tape of the opening of the conference, which was based on a presentation of posters For each participating project, as well as presenting the practical side of the scientific committees in order to evaluate the projects according to the criteria Minutes determined by the scientific conference..
It is noteworthy that the participants in the conference included six different themes, according to the specializations of the scientific departments of Al-Mansour University College, which are:
The foucus Computer engineering, computer engineering and technology, and communications engineering
The focus of engineering technology for medical Instruments
The focus of computer science and information systems
The focus of business administration and accounting sciences
The focus of law
The focus of the English language
The evaluation process by the six scientific committees for each axis lasted for about three hours, after which the three winning projects for each axis were announced and they were honored with financial prizes by the Dean of Al-Mansour University College to encourage them and the rest of their colleagues at all stages in order to take care of developing their scientific skills, and the winning project was honored. The first within the scientific specializations and the first within the humanitarian specializations, in addition to the first project of projects that serve the goals of sustainable development, after which the work of the conference was concluded with the distribution of books of thanks and appreciation to the project supervisors and members of the scientific and preparatory committees for the conference.
